Neodymium Segment magnets are also called Arc magnets that are made by wire cutting from block magnets. This kind of segment magnets are usually used in DC motors and other electric motors. They are usually shipped to customer by magnetizing 50% N poles outside and 50% S poles outside so they can be assemblied to a radial ring magnet with N-S-N-S---poles lined and this method can make sure the biggest work effiencu of NdFeB Segment magnets in motors. The ordinary grade in motors is N35SH or N38SH with maximum working temperature 150° C. These NdFeB Arc /Tile shaped magnets can be coated Nickel(Ni-Cu-Ni), Black Nickel, Zinc(Trivalent), Epoxy, Stannum, Gold, Silver or Parylene etc in order to keep from rusting.
The highest grades for these products are N52, N48M, N44H, N42SH, N38UH and N35EH etc.
